El programa de visitas de la Biblioteca Valenciana(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2018-06-01) Muñoz Feliu, Miguel C.[EN] Many cultural institutions lack an active policy to present to the public their collections, products and services. - PublicationAgenda 2030 y cultura(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2022-12-02) Piñero Larrasoaña, Víctor[EN] Since 193 countries approved the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development on September 25, 2015, many people and institutions have tried to fit the term culture into its content. None of the 17 sustainable development goals in which the Agenda is specified make mention of culture in an express way, so the attempts to introduce culture in them have been numerous, and we could say that they have also been unsuccessful. The starting point to be able to interpret the 2030 Agenda from the cultural perspective must be to establish, first of all, what we understand by culture. This article proposes an anthropological concept of culture that can serve to better understand the 2030 Agenda and help unfold its full potential.
- PublicationAnálisis crítico del discurso intercultural en Facebook. Caso ‘Conaie Comunicación’(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2021-12-10) Falconi Calvachi, Franklin Ricardo; Velásquez Cajas, Ángel Patricio; Lema Flores, Karla Mishel; Lomas Chacón, Pablo Esteban[EN] Since its inception, the Ecuadorian indigenous movement represented by the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador, CONAIE, has set objectives aimed at the defense of nature, the construction of an intercultural society, the strengthening of cultural identity and the consolidation of political actions. In this sense, the research aims to show the presence of the intercultural discourse of said organization in its Facebook posts. Teun Van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis (ACD) methodology has been used, with a qualitative approach. To apply the ACD, the analysis was distributed in 5 categories evidenced within the publications from June to December 2020. The frequency of the categories showed that CONAIE uses the Facebook platform to expose, to a large extent, issues of social demands and political and, to a lesser but considerable extent, intercultural and collective elements. It is concluded that CONAIE handles a vindictive discourse in the face of social reality, but does not abandon the intercultural principles that have founded the organization and that have become a political and identity conception of the peoples and nationalities of Ecuador; considering that the intercultural participation of CONAIE on Facebook is not only measured by cultural and ethnic aspects, but also by its class condition and discourses that influence other popular sectors and organizations that are not clearly part of the indigenous movement, but that pursue ideologies and similar thoughts.
