    Para los pájaros
(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2019-03-26) Martínez Ballester, José Juan; Dpto. de Escultura; Facultad de Bellas Artes; Grupo de Laboratorio de Creaciones Intermedia. LCI
[EN] We establish here an analogy between various artistic creations not aimed at being perceived by human beings, but rather by other animals, extraterrestrial beings or even deities. Also, the authorship of these creations is not made by professionals from the art world, but from other branches of knowledge such as agriculture or astronomy, or simply gestated in an amateur way.

Correlato de la figura del observador. Estatuto del mundo en sus fundamentos imaginarios
(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2019-03-26) de la Villa Liso, Lourdes
[EN] This work is a study of memory as a specific domain that arises from a specific perceptual problem: access to the world through the sensory channel of sight. It is preceded by two stages of investigation. At this third stage, the "real" is addressed as a result or solution to the problem. The methodology has been constructed from the interpretation of Schnell’s project of anthropological phenomenology that proposes a definition of man as "Homo imaginans". It is carried out an operation of reflection with respect to the results that we had obtained until now. The way to the "real" is formulated as the one that would solve the psychic device called up during the "making of images".The characteristics and temporalities of memory are analyzed regarding visual function and consciousness.

Prototyp_ome. (Re)articular la biomedicina desde la investigación artística
(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2019-03-26) Benítez Valero, Laura
[EN] Throughout 2015 and 2017 Prototy_ome has taken place in Hangar. An inter(in)disciplinary project with a collaborative format based on the bio(info)technology Do it yourself [DIY] and Do it together [DIT]. In collaboration with Pechblenda Lab, the Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona, DIYBioBcn, Faboratory and subsidized by the Nina Caruso Foundation, Protoyp_ome has brought together artists, scientists, (bio)hackers, makers, theorists and different social groups to revisit, re-think, co-design and develop biological exploration processes, tools and technologies, especially those related to biomedicine. From the premise of the collaboration, Prototyp_ome has brought together a hybrid team, covering different skills and knowledge around their laboratories, as well as the communities that are generated in these common spaces. The inter(in)disciplinariness as a condition of possibility of the collaborative production of knowledge (s) has opened a crack from which to take as a starting point the perspective of the user, putting this to the historical articulation, in terms of hierarchy, of the institutions and disciplines recognized as the only generators of valid knowledge. In this shared process, artistic research has not only played a fundamental role but has made possible a work where experimentation has displaced quantitative parameters, configuring forms of contact-experience from which to re-think the relationships that mediate bodies, working from the co-implicación of matter and form, generating processes of cross-sectional constitution that open the possibility of articulating, other links and other ways of operating.

Los “espacios cualesquiera” de Gordon Matta-Clark: building cuts bajo una óptica deleuziana (I)
(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2019-03-26) Bouille de Vicente, Luis
[EN] Artistic interventions in buildings made by Gordon Matta-Clark in 70’s are a constant source of critical interpretations for the particular nature of its shaping. It is possible to consider these building cutsmade by Matta-Clark as “any-space-whatevers” (Gilles Deleuze). For that the present article presents the concept of “paracinema”, developed by Esperanza Collado, by which diverse artistic practices can be performed as cinematographic experiences external to its specific medium, by employing in them processes and concepts of the cinematographic device by other external means. The concept of “paracinema” works as a mediator between the idea of “ritornelo” -artistic creation of a territory (Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari)-and “any-space-whatevers”, empty and disconnected spaces that, presented in cinematographic images , are able to generate "time-images" or “direct time presentations”. In this way, the artistic interventions in buildings, because of their condition of paracinematic “any-space-whatevers”, could produce localized “time-images” in place.

Aproximaciones estéticas en los medios sociales: Realidad aumentada, arte y snapchat
(Universitat Politècnica de València, 2019-03-26) Urdaneta García, Daniela de Jesús
[EN] The present investigation intends to generate through a documentary and phenomenological analysis an aesthetic approach that helps to understand the artistic practices developed in Augmented Reality in the public space, specifically in Snapchat's Art Around You project. Through the review of experiences by social actors and the positions of experts, the different aesthetic categories will be compared with the purpose of obtaining the necessary findings for the construction of the approach.
